Just left Lighthouse Cafe. 100 on everything. I had the eggs benedict and you can tell the hollandaise sauce was homemade. The egg was poached to perfection and the Canadian bacon was the perfect balance of soft and crispy. Also had a side of bacon, even that was delicious. Coffee was strong and good. It is a small place with like maybe 20 people max on seating but it’s perfect. Get here early for good seating.
You step inside and you are immediately greeted with a warm welcome. The music sets the mood as you’re whisked into a sense of having a romantic breakfast with your spouse. I was a basic order of the lighthouse classic and it was cooked perfectly. The coffee was amazing. Loved the vibe and will 100% recommend it to everyone. Nice and cozy clean plate from channel 10 was spot on
The New Lighthouse Café — A Hidden Breakfast Haven The New Lighthouse Café is one of those rare places that feels like a secret you’re lucky to stumble upon. Tucked near the harbour in a Laguna‑like setting, it doesn’t rely on sweeping outdoor views or open patios. Instead, the magic happens the moment you step inside. Behind its closed doors, the ambiance is warm, inviting, and unexpectedly enchanting. Soft lighting, thoughtful décor, and a calm, intimate atmosphere create a space that feels worlds away from the outside. It’s the kind of room where mornings feel slower, gentler, and somehow more meaningful. The breakfast here is exceptional. Every dish is crafted with care — comforting classics elevated with fresh ingredients and a clear passion for flavor. Whether it’s perfectly cooked eggs, or coffee (exceptional) that hits exactly the right note, each plate feels like a small celebration of the morning. The service is another standout. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, the staff makes you feel like you’ve been coming for years. They strike that perfect balance of warmth and professionalism that turns a simple breakfast into a memorable experience. What truly sets The New Lighthouse Café apart is the combination of its hidden location, its intimate indoor charm, and its commitment to making breakfast feel special. It’s not just a meal — it’s a quiet escape, a comforting ritual, and a reminder that some of the best treasures are found behind closed doors.
Omg!!! I had just gotten off a cruise and my flight wasn't departing for hours, so I needed to find somewhere to eat. It was mid-morning, and I decided to try The New Lighthouse Caffe. When we walked in, the waitress greeted us warmly and told us we could sit anywhere. The place is small, but cozy and intimate. I looked over the menu but had my heart set on a lunch item because I had seen photos of the food before arriving. Even though they don't normally serve lunch at that time, both the chef and the waitress were kind enough to let my boyfriend and me order a turkey sandwich with breakfast potatoes. I happened to run across an article in the Sun sentinel stateing that they were awarded "The Clean Plate award" that was enough for me and my wife to head there. It's tucked in the Clubhouse community, if it wasn't for the Coffee banner just off the road we wouldn't have found it.. lol. Upon entering we immediately felt a joy in finding this spotless little Cafe. We were greeted with "Good mornings and smiles from everyone". The chef came out from the kitchen to get something and we were immediately introduced. He stood there smiling in his crispy white chef's outfit. We placed our order and sipped on their Colombian coffee. Out came our order on gleaming plates. Everything so fresh looking we couldn't wait to dig in. We loved everything, so delish! We asked for our check and was told " it's ready, just pay at the cashier ". After we payed our modest charge we were instructed to tour the light house and backyard. So we did. It was lovely, it kinda had a Harry Potter feel to it. We strolled around feeling so contented we didn't want to leave. Come here and enjoy the delicious food and warm vibe. I promise you won't be disappointed.
Hands down the best breakfast I have ever had at a café! Very small hole in the wall place popular with the locals. Hidden away by a community center. Attentive wait staff. Definitely recommend, even if you have to wait a few minutes for a table. Plenty of free parking.
This is a great restaurant! We come here every time we are in town. It's a little gym inside of Dania beach. The folks who own this place are amazing! They are just very friendly folks and make breakfast a wonderful time. The food never lets us down and the plates are always clean at the end because the food is delicious! We love the salmon Benedict, goat cheese omelette, and the steak and eggs. It's a hidden gem and a must try in the area for breakfast!
Such a surprising place. Quaint cafe Nestled in a little neighborhood by a lake. Service was excellent and food was delicious. If I lived nearby I’d be one of their new regulars. Wish we found it before it was our last day! Skip the chain stuff by all the popular stores and go here instead!
